International Trade Game - FLAME University      Youtube Channel

As part of the International Finance course at FLAME University, students take part in an experiential simulation that turns the classroom into a global marketplace. Representing six countries across three rounds, students navigate real-world challenges — resource scarcity, trade negotiations, pricing dynamics, and sovereign borrowing — to experience firsthand how global markets actually function.

The simulation builds practical intuition around:

  • Global inequality and unequal starting resources

  • Industrialization under constraints

  • Market equilibrium and dynamic pricing

  • Trade negotiations and comparative advantage

  • International lending, interest rates, and debt traps

  • Strategic decision-making under uncertainty

It's experiential learning designed to bridge theory and application — helping students build economic intuition, not just read about it.
